PARCEL 3 is another full quarter that has about 70 acres of meadows that have been seeded to meadow brome grass. This Parcel is beautiful. With rolling hills, bush, trees, and lots of water, it attracts waterfowl and big game alike, including mule and whitetail deer and moose. There may even be a family or two of nature's water engineers (beavers) in the larger pond. Parcel 3 is truly a bird watcher’s and hunter’s paradise. There are a variety of edible berries which contributed to the Bosch family freezer throughout the years. This Parcel also has revenue from two oil & gas well leases, currently generating income of about $4,200 per year. In October 2020, a letter was received stating that the well on LSD 9-24 was to be abandoned. It is in that process now.
